Pink Leopard Scarf

Ever since my cousin gave me this bright pink leopard scarf, I have felt lively and sassy. Not to mention, I get compliments on this particular garment like crazy!
A graphic scarf livens up any outfit and incidentally, keeps the upper body warm during an in between season like January in L.A. Here I paired it with a $5 smock and a $2 silky silver tank from the thrift shop. And of course(being from the south), I couldn’t help but throw on a pair of blue jeans and booties.
Mix it with my fresh new haircut of 2013 and I have an affordable and fun look!

Christmas Wish List II

What can I say? I love the holidays and the pretty things they bring. Here are more stuffers I want in my stocking! The dress form will fit perfectly under the Christmas Tree and I’m loving all things Equestrian this winter season, such as embellished riding boots and Horse Accessories. Add some sparkling baubles, a dash of Paris, and the dreams of Thriftshopcouture will be dancing with sugar plum fairies!

Herringbone and Tweed

Fall is the best time to experiment with different textiles. So when the temperature dropped, I was thrilled to pair this thick, herringbone dress with these tweed booties. Throw on a colorful knit sweater and zipper leggings for warmth, and I have an outfit of rich layers.

Kimchi Blue Dress 1

I love the detail of the buttons on this dress as well as the Herringbone pattern.

Kimchi Blue Dress

I can’t stop raving about these shoes- so cold weather appropriate with the thick and cozy fabric, yet super eclectic with the chunky platform heel.

Blowfish Booties

A pop of electric blue highlights the contrast between both fabrics.

I Love Studs

Sometimes I can’t decide what I love more-studded shoes or studly gentlemen. At a festive brunch this weekend, I was steered towards studded footwear that showed up in multitudes!

Studded Loafers and Studded Bow Tie Flats

Here’s my edgy look with Studded Booties inspired by my friends:
